La Cave de Mathias is located in the main street of Chateauneuf du Pape. The door opens on an Art Gallery, where local and international artists share with me their passion. Art at its best !

Mathias will accompany you through the different universes of the artists.

Rebecca Fabulatrice works on forgotten, rejected objects, out of taste but familiar to us becasue archetypal or everyday. Wrapped, costumed, carrying a memory they come back to us, kind and splendid. Wrapped with ribbons of bra straps from unsold lingerie brands, she is creating a link between the forms, the spirits, the link is a thread, a ribbon…

Bruce Meritte, had the idea in 2009, to take pictures of his figurines, collected since his childhood, and shows them in different siutations, from pop-art to advertising, his works ofeten propose a double reading behind a positive message.

Torrick Ablack Aka, Toxic, his artistic name is the last survivor of the powerful and extremly influential group on the graffiti scene of the 80’s with Jean Michel Basquiat and Rammellzee under the name « Hollywood Africans ». Colors, symbols, cabalistic references and personal memories find their place in the artist’s paintings.
